We had a lovely stay over October half term and were lucky to enjoy beautiful weather & made full use of the immaculate pool. The BBQ area was fantastic, and we appreciated having that outdoor space since the indoor living area is quite compact. Surroundings are stunning, though do come prepared for mosquitos given the rural setting.
Anta was fabulous-communication was excellent, & local recommendations were much appreciated.
As we were the last guests of the season, the property did feel like it could use a little attention and maintenance. We noticed quite a few ants in the kitchen on arrival & were inundated with flies, so we bought sticky fly catchers to manage them. Although the house has fly screens, there were still quite a few inside.
Extra kitchen utensils & pans would also be useful, as only one saucepan was provided initially (though they kindly brought us more), & the kettle is travel sized. These are minor points, but just some suggestions. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The landlord was very attentive and we were asked daily if everything was tidy, and the garbage was disposed of and the pool was cleaned daily. Locally produced olive oil and wine are available for purchase on site.

We spent amazing holiday in Vila Elissavet in Zakynthos with my family (we had group of 5 adults). Villa was nicely decorated, luminous, spacious and well equipped (f.e. kitchen had everything you need to cook, different kind of glasses etc). Villa has beautiful view of the wineyards and mountains and area was peaceful.
Anta and her team made our stay and vacation memorable. Anta gave us tips and recommendations for restaurants, boat rentals, beached etc. She was really helpful before and during our holiday and made things smooth for us. We experienced that her hospitality was impeccable.
At villa we were taken care of by a lovely housekeeper Anastasia and gardener Mario. Anastasia was always smiling and had positive and warm energy. She made sure that everything was ok for us. Mario was really polite and helpful. He took care or surroundings and thd pool during our stay.

Beautiful and peaceful setting, we had a great stay, friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate for everything u would need. The villa was great size for our family 5, more than enough space, kids loved swimming pool and free bike rides around the vineyard. Lovely addition was wine, olive oil and fruit produced on this site.

A very beautiful villa, perfect for a larger group, with a responsive host. We received everything we needed, and the location was quiet and we had no problems with neighbors from other villas!

Overall we had a fantastic stay at the villa. Anta was very responsive and gave tonnes of recommendations via email before we arrived. We were met by Anastasia who lives close (she maintains the villa) – she was super friendly and helpful. A big shout out to her for making our stay so comfortable. The property (around 20-30 minute drive from airport) is in a remote area surrounded by beautiful landscape. There are a couple of other villas on the estate but far enough away to ensure you have privacy. We recommend hiring a car when staying at the villa. Anta sent us a taxi contact which we used a few times, once to visit the Callinico Winery museum (recommended), you’re looking at around 20-25€ one way to get to Zakynthos town. We didn’t wait more than 15mins for a taxi to arrive at the property. The villa was clean and comfortable. The small touches were really appreciated – water, bread, olive oil on arrival. Essentials like cleaning materials, loo roll, and kitchen towels included.

It was a beautiful location, and the organization was fantastic. The host responded very quickly. We had a wonderful holiday!

We had a truly wonderful stay: the villa was truly beautiful, and the pool simply fantastic. We even received bread with homemade olive oil as a welcome gift. The hostess was always available and incredibly helpful. The highlight was the small wine tasting with her own wine. The only minor issue was that two neighbors’ dogs frequently came by in the evenings—no big deal, but a little warning would have been nice. Still, absolutely recommended!

Top villa for holidays with friends or large family

Six of us (3×2) stayed at the property for a week. It was a perfect fit for us. The island isn’t particularly large, so everything is easily accessible from there. It’s quiet in the evenings, or rather, the noise level depends on the neighbors. The pool or the terrace are great for relaxing late into the evening or just arriving in the morning. Communication was very easy and flexible. There are friendly people on site who look after the houses. They speak (almost) no English, but you can get by with hand gestures and cell phone communication. The villa is practically furnished and perfectly suited our needs (there are air conditioning units in the bedrooms).

We have had a fantastic family holiday in Villa Anastasia. The house is beautifully located, close to mountains and nature, and at the same time it is not far by car to towns and beaches. The villa is clean and spacious and the outdoor areas are absolutely fantastic. The pool is large and also clean, and there is a lot of activity to do on the grounds. We enjoyed sitting outside both morning and evening. We can also recommend the Greek meals that the staff make. Communication with Anta has been good and her recommendations for beaches and restaurants on the island are also good. We rented a private boat for a half-day trip on the northern part of the island. It is highly recommended to experience the island and not least the sea and the caves from the water side as well. A stay with Anta in one of her villas is highly recommended.

The villa is magnificent in a very beautiful setting. It is well equipped and the staff and owners are very attentive. Its location makes it the ideal place for large party groups. I highly recommend it. The large swimming pool is very pleasant.

This airbnb was everything and more for our big group! we had more than enough room, the pool, view, outdoor shower, bikes , and tennis court were our highlights of this airbnb. the hosts and workers were THE best they helped us with whatever we needed and greeted us from the beginning with their grapes that they grow outside the airbnb and homemade wine. we definitely will be back and highly recommend this airbnb

The house is very beautiful, full of light and space with comfortable beds and a very nice garden. It’s in a quiet position with a stunning view on the sea only 10 minutes drive from the centre of the island. It is ideal for a group of friends or for two families. The host was always ready to answer our questions and solve little problems. She also gave us some good advice on where to go

We were a family of 13 visiting for a week and loved staying at Villa Anastasia. Communication was excellent throughout. Highlights were the lovely pool and lots of activities to keep children busy all through the holiday. Would have no issues in returning in future.

A beautiful villa set in a perfect location within a vineyard and wonderful views. A perfect location for celebrating two milestone birthdays within our family which ranged in age from 6 months to 70 years old. The wines produced by the host were superb and very reasonably priced. Anta and her team were always on site to cater for our every need and we were very impressed by the meal we booked on site which was prepared by the ladies who worked there. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

A luxury vacation at a fair price
We were a group of 7 people and the house is truly stunning and is very suitable for such a number. Both the interior and exterior are truly exceptional. 40 meters from the sea and 100 from a beautiful beach. I would definitely go back!

Lovely place. Family run.. If something didn’t work it was fixed quickly. They put in a stair gate for us as we had a toddler upstairs. Housekeeper Anastasia was very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. A great place for a family holiday, thank you.

Beautiful villa with spacious swimming pool. It is beautifully and quietly situated in the vineyard and among the olive trees. The owners are very friendly. They have many good tips for restaurants, beaches and boat rentals. They told us very enthusiastically about the history of the estate and were given a nice explanation of how they process the olives into olive oil and the grapes into wine. The cleaning staff was also excellent. Always friendly and helpful.

We were 11 guest at Anastasia villa and we had an amazing time. The villa was beautiful and the pool area stunning. Our host was always quick to respond to any questions that we had and were understanding and helpful. We tested the private dinner that they offered which were cooked by two lovely ladies in greek style. We would definitely recommend this to others who stays there. Overall, a 10 out of 10 vacation.

Very nice house for 6 people
Super nice house in a beautiful, quiet area. Housekeeping was super friendly, they came by every day to ask if everything was okay and to clean the pool. The house was also nice and clean and we had all the facilities to cook and wash well at home. The host had also sent us some nice sights and restaurants that she recommended.

Absolutely perfect
We had a superb week at villa Elissavet. This a comfortable and well-equipped villa in a stunning setting. Host Anta responded promptly to a couple of issues including providing a replacement fridge immediately. She was also accommodating with answering questions and did us a huge favour on our last day which we were very grateful for. Housekeeper Anastasia and a colleague do multiple towel changes and freshen-ups across the week. The pool (which is lovely) is checked daily and was cleaned at least twice during our stay. Nice arrival gift of wine and olive oil from the estate. Highly recommend

I stayed in Anta’s stunning villa with my family – we were 7 adults. It was spacious, cool, well organized and beautiful. I would highly recommend Anta’s suggestion of having a couple of lovely Greek ladies cook your evening meals – the meals were excellent, generous and authentic Greek cooking. Make sure you have an extra day after the meal date so you have time to eat the leftovers. All super delicious. Anastasia and Maria were the chefs and were wonderful – amazingly organised and tidy. Better than any restaurant.

Perfect choice for your accomodation in Aigina!!! The house is situated at the most beautiful location of Aigina, very quite with great views & near the sea but at the same time only 6 min. away from the centre and port. It is very spacious, luxurious & cosy, clean, with all the amenities needed… nothing was missing!!! The three bedrooms with 3 different bathrooms was a plus for us, as we wanted to have our privacy from each other. Also there is a relaxing garden and even bicycles (very nice idea,we used them and had a great tour nearby). Anta was very communicative and helped us with everything that we asked for!!! Polite and professional. If you consider also the great price this is the best value for money choice you can make!! Totally recommended

The villa was large, spacious outside areas with lots of seating and great views, and a decent size deep pool with a separate paddling area around two sides. Excellent communication with Anta and Anastasia, who were also very helpful.

Absolutely fantastic! 🌿✨ Our stay at this stunning villa in Greece was perfect. Located in a serene olive grove, the property offered everything we could have wanted and more. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality. The generous hosts left us a thoughtful basket of local wine, fresh bread, and olive oil. They were incredibly responsive throughout our stay, provided lots of local recommendations, and helped when one of our guests lost his wedding ring. The villa itself was space & clean. It provided more than enough room for everyone in our big group to relax and enjoy. The two sparkling pools gave us the luxury of swimming in the morning sun and lounging in the afternoon shade, all while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. And then there was the tennis court — what a bonus! If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in Greece with top-tier amenities and hosts who genuinely care, look no further. Highly, highly recommended!

Dear Aneli Villa’s. We stayed with 13 persons in Anastasia villa. Beautiful located between mountains and sea in a olive tree surrounding. The infinity pool was amazing as well as the tenniscourt, spacious villa, table tennis, garden and bbq spot. Of course the sunny weather helped but we really enjoyed the 8 days holiday and warm and pleasant assistance of Anastasia, Anta and our Albanian gardener! Thanks for the good time. This magical place has everything you need and more. The 10 of us spent a week in villa Semeli, what a delight and tranquility and especially space. You have a beautiful view over the pool the grape vines on a mountain side. You can only hear the birds that come to drink water from the pool and the space around the villa is really a huge plus. The children could enjoy cycling, picking lemons down the road. And my brother-in-law even covered a triathlon on the property. The location on the island is ideal, you are max 20 minutes from everything. Anta and her husband are incredibly friendly and helpful. The tennis court is also great. Yes, if you ask us, we will be back every year from now!

Everything about this stay was amazing! Anta, Antoni and the entire team were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Wine and olive oil on arrival, daily check ins to see if there was anything more they could do, recommendations of the local area (including driving us to the shops when we’d gone to explore for ourselves!) – they are just incredible hosts. Our children loved playing with their girls, and we made the most of the beautiful pool, table tennis, tennis, running path… in the most beautiful of surroundings. We were even lucky enough to have a free tasting of the wine and olive oil produced from the estate (and brought plenty home too!), and it was lovely to listen to them share the history of their family and the local area. To explore the island we did need a car, but would absolutely do that again rather than staying somewhere more touristy. We hope to return – wonderful holiday!

I can’t explain what an amazing time we had at Aneli Villas. We booked it for a big family trip and Anta and her family made it so so special for us. The villas are absolutely beautiful – we had lots of fun making outdoor dinenrs and exploring the vineyards. We got to see some of their wine production which was a real treat. We really liked the villa, it was exactly the same as the pictures describe. The tenniscourt was excellent. we have stayed in many villas with tennis court and this tennis court was in the best conditions we have played at. Children loved the pool! the housekeeper was very polite and even though we didn’t speak the same language, we got along very well! the island left a very good impression on us , the variety , shourt distance and so green. We definitely will visit the villa again, we had amazing time at the villa and we shared unforgettable memories!

Had the best stay at the villa, incredible views, lovely rooms, great pool. Restaurant and bakery not far away with a mini mart a bit further which had everything we needed. Anta was very accommodating and made sure everything was as it should be! Clean and the perfect villa for a large group!

Used villa for wedding with 18 people. Worth every penny

We had a wonderful stay at Anta’s place. It is an easy 10min taxi or drive from the port, and it’s easy to walk back and forth to the town. The location is on a stunning part of the coast looking back towards Athens, with great beaches for swimming. We were met by Anta’s husband Antoni and he was incredibly hospitable and generous with his time. They both shared great recommendations to make the most of our time in Aegina. The house is spacious and well designed and worked really well with a group. Thank you

We really enjoyed our time here. For us was perfect. Nice rooms, big terrace, amazing pool. the position of the villa…speechless:) wonderful views ❤️ Also we liked the amenities: bikes, tennis table and the tennis court. Maintenance came daily or once every 2 days to clean the pool and cleaners came by daily to check everything was okay and changed our bed sheets and towels once during our 7 nights. Kitchen had everything we needed. We feel in love with the sunset view from the villa. I really recommend this place, you won’t regret staying here.

The home was great for our stay! There is a local beach walking distance down the road that is fantastic. The home was private and quiet. There are a few cats that might want to spend some time with you on your holiday if you sit outside.

As a group of 16 adults and 4 babies/infants, we had an absolutely fantastic time. The place was amazing and Anta could not have been more helpful with recommendations and support particularly in the run up to our trip. The location was ideal, being both private but no more than 15 minutes drive to stunning beaches, restaurants, shops etc. Would highly recommend the chefs provided by Anta, the food was incredible and the price was entirely reasonable. Wonderful villa in Zakynthos. We booked this property for a group holiday with friends. It was peaceful, clean, with lots of amenities, and generally a great place to relax. Anta, the host, gave us many recommendations for some great restaurants and activities on the island. The venue has many amenities such as tennis, pools, bbq, table tennis, which make it a great place to stay with friends. There were some minor issues with the amenities but these were quickly resolved as there was usually someone on hand and if not the host was responsive by message. We also had an issue with check-in as the previous guests hadn’t left when we arived. However, they prepared the common areas for us to use as they finished cleaning the rooms, and gave us a late check-out on our last day to compensate. Overall a fantastic stay.

We arrived in a super nice area;everything was a little small ,too bad that canopy leaks in rain . BBQ therefore a lot on the first day Too wet and took a very long time for things to do otherwise very nice people if you ask, they take care of it and very Nice late flight and allowed to stay longer in the house 🏠

Very comfortable stay at the beachfront of a magical island

We liked everything about the villa – location is superb, with two little cute beaches very close by. It is in a quiet area, but the Aegina port with it’s tavernas and shops is easily accessable by car or taxi. Villa has two bikes available so we would use them to go to nearby market. Each bedroom has it’s bathroom which is very convenient. Kitchen is well-equipped and the grill in the garden comes super handy when you don’t feel like eating out. Overall our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable, would love to come back.
Some facilities are little worn down, which is not surprising by the end of the summer season. So it’s better to have realistic expectations that it is not a five star resort. But more of like a stay at your favorite grandma’s summer house.

Peaceful setting, great location to explore, you can pick your own fruit and veg that is growing from the land, large pool was great. House keeping and Pool/maintenance guy and villa owner couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful.

We had a fantastic holiday with 9 adults and 3 children (young children between the ages of 2 and 5). The contact with Anta was very good. We already got some recommendations for restaurants and activities in advance. In addition, excellent Greek cooked for us in the house at our request. This was also one of the recommendations and this was done by staff we saw daily e.g. with cleaning the house. We were also very satisfied with the accommodation itself. The expectations we had been met. Photos are accurate with what it looks like. We greatly enjoyed this family vacation!

We were three families with six adults and five children, so we really appreciated that Anta’s villa is so big. Also the pool area, bbq and tennis court are all lovely and make keeping the kids busy very easy. Anta set up for Maria and Anastasia to cook for us a couple of times- I would highly recommend that as the food was great and the ladies very kind and helpful. Anta also gave us many helpful recommendations. The villa is in a convenient location in the countryside but not too far from zakynthos so it’s easy to get to many things to do. Overall we had a lovely time, the house was lovely and perfect for a big group, Anta and her team were very kind and helpful to us. Thanks a lot!

We came as a family of 12 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren.
The whole family was enthusiastic about the villa which allowed everyone to stay very comfortably and for each family to have their own bathroom.
The villa and its facilities are wonderful.
The swimming pool was unanimously popular and the tennis court too.
Some went jogging in the vineyards and others in the gym.
The meals outside with the large table and the large barbecue were all appreciated.
The villa is located in such a way that visits to the island are easy.
This stay will be memorable, thanks to Ana who was very efficient and extremely kind.

Anta and her staff have been incredibly helpful, answering questions, providing recommendations, and assisting with on-site needs whenever we needed it. The house is absolutely fantastic, with spacious rooms, great air conditioning, a wonderful pool, and comfortable sun loungers. We especially appreciated the included cleaning service with fresh bed linens halfway through our stay, as well as our private chef who prepared a delicious dinner for us. I highly recommend Anta and her team!

The house is lovely, quiet and secluded, you have a large pool, tennis court, barbecue … everything you could need. One of the advantages of the house is the many bathrooms and its cleanliness. It is an ideal place for a larger group of people or several families who decide to rest together. We had a great stay, can’t wait to go back soon.

Staying at the Villa was an amazingly pleasent experience, the house was clean and very spacious, in a secluded environment that allowed for privacy, without sacrificing convenience as restaurants and stores are only a few minutes away. The bedrooms are well equipped with storage space, amenities and comfortable beds of varying sizes. Additionally, there is a wine cellar with affordable bottles and a humble gym with some good equipment. However, most impressive of all, the outdoor space, as advertised provides a large amount of seating space, a large infinity pool, lots of garden and a full size tennis court with a few additions such as a basketball hoop. I definitely recommend staying here.

Stay was very well liked. The house is top, location super, ladies who take care of the cleaning and the master of the pool are incredibly friendly and work hard. The ladies came to cook once and that was very nice. We still got dance lessons from one of the ladies. Nothing is too much to ask, extremely hospitable and helpful. Nothing but praise to the host and her team.

The cleaning ladies and handyman are incredibly friendly and flexible. And also cooked a wonderful evening for us. Pool was also cleaned and tested every day.

The location was great! Renting a car is a must! The view and the pool is beautiful We were like family with 12 people, there was enough privacy through the large rooms and private bathrooms. The staff is very friendly, towels are provided whenever you want and the villa is also cleaned during your stay.

Great place to explore the island
the location was super, 600 meters from the main road was the house. In 2 minutes you could go all the way on the island via the main road. The house is in the middle of the island so within 35 minutes you are either in the north or in the south. The house is a wonderful base to explore the island and an even better place to come back after an active day. Swimming pool was well maintained, every few days fresh towels, well equipped kitchen, good wifi 🙂 , air conditioning and a beautiful view!
There was nothing wrong But during our stay, there was a leak in one of the bathrooms. During the stay, the owner did everything he could to fix it but in vain. It didn’t bother us.

Lovely getaway
The villa is in a lovely scenic location, perfect for getting away from it all (you really do need a car to get around). The hosts were very responsive and the housekeepers very kind, going above and beyond to help. We had a lovely sweet wine made from grapes from the vineyard.

Amazing villa with large rooms and beautiful inside. Amazing pool with a great view and outdoor seating area with a bbq. Property was beautiful, with a tennis court that we used a lot and loads of bikes on the property which we used to get about, made it easy to go to the shops on bike which was about a 5-10 min cycle. One restaurant nearby about a 10 min walk which was nice. Maintenance came daily to clean the pool and cleaners came by daily to check everything was okay and changed our bed sheets and towels once during our 5 night stay which was great. Kitchen had everything we needed and had a water dispenser so we didn’t need to buy bottled water. Property is very private and peaceful. Anta was a great host and very helpful and responsive with everything we needed. 5 stars would highly recommend.

The perfect place for our family holiday! Six adults and two kids. The villa had ample space and tonnes of space for us all to enjoy our time together. Loved the alfesco dining area. The view is incredible and it’s so peaceful. You can’t see or hear the neighbours when using the space outside. We did some hiking and long runs, celebrated our 8-year-old’s birthday and took a few trips to the beach! Hire car is recommended, though you could use the free bikes to get around too. The pool is a really good size and we were in it every day. I’d definitely go back to this place again.

Anta’s place was beautiful to say the least. It was quite peaceful and away from of all of the noise. We did not have a car so we had to rely on a taxi or walking which was doable. The place was clean and comfortable with wonderful views that we enjoyed.

The villa is located right on the beach and it is beautiful. My friends and I rented ATVs to get to the port quicker but it’s only a 30min walk and it’s all gorgeous. The house is just as described with many cute cats outside!! (they are friendly) Would definitely recommend to big groups 🙂

We had a special time in this house with friends. The house is located in the north of the island, where many artists lived. One of the island’s residents explained to us that there’s unique light and views here, so artists love the place. Anti’s house is beautifully decorated in a Greek climate. In the evenings, we lit fires that added charm and created a unique atmosphere. The view from the patio to the bay was breathtaking. The beach is a 2-minute walk away. Every day we took a 30-minute walk into the city for delicious food in the marina. It was a beautiful holiday and we will be back.

The house is very large with many spaces and a fantastic deal. The house had a very nice kitchen, comfortable living spaces and three nice bedrooms. The location is very quiet and peaceful with a wonderful sea view from many of the spaces. I would say the house is remote as there is only one restaurant close by and the nearest small mini market is almost as far as walking to the port. There is a wonderful grocery in Kilepsi about 30 minute walk away. If one is good with walking, they would be good, otherwise having some transport would be helpful. We were in the house for 4 weeks which was wonderful. There are very few screens and so many mosquitoes, it was really possible to enjoy the balconies or open the windows. The beds were too hard for us, but we are all different. I would also say that the house was a bit run down and the pictures are not quite accurate as to the condition of the house or views, but at the end of the day, a nice place and again an excellent deal. One suggestion that might be helpful would be a binder or notebook from the manager and or owner with information about the Internet and house rules, where to take the trash, any safety advice.

We had the most amazing stay here, the setting is amazing, and loads to do, two pools, table tennis, a tennis court, a gym and bike track (and of course a wine cellar, which was stocked with their own wines)
Exactly as described, and staff came to clean and refresh towels half way through the stay.
We mainly cooked on the big outside BBQ as there was lots of us, which worked perfectly. But both kitchens were well stocked with essentials, pots, pans etc. And even a nice bottle of their own wine in the fridge when we arrived.
Even though there was lots of us we still had more than enough space so you never felt on top of each other!

WOW – I just stayed here with friends (16 of us!) and it was absolutely incredible. The views, the facilities, the pools! There was so much space. We are so grateful for our holiday. It was so fun having tennis courts and bikes to ride.

My family of 15 (one infant) stayed for a week in Anta’s villa. It was perfect! The house is beautiful and spacious. The beds were very comfortable with crisp linens and ample pillows. The outdoor space is wonderful. We cooked outside several times, and ate all our dinners under the pergola. Everyone enjoyed the pool which was spotless.
The cleaning staff and maintenance man were so helpful and friendly. We needed extra items for the baby, which were provided right away.
We took advantage of having Anta’s staff cook for us one evening. It was amazing —a truly memorable meal and experience!
We had one small glitch when locating the house as it has been painted pink. We were looking for a while house as pictured. A call to Anta solved the confusion. I would highly recommend staying at Aneli Villas when visiting Zakynthos!

The villa is beautiful, located right next to a beach in a very peaceful area. The sheets and towels were perfectly clean and felt luxurious. A very spacious place for our group of 6.
It is a little isolated of you don’t have a car (35min walk to Aegina) but taxis are reasonably cheap (8€). The house is very well equipped but could use some maintenance. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

If you’re wondering whether to book Villa Alexandra and reading these reviews to help justify your decision… stop reading and book! It is honestly one of the most breathtaking villas I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at. Amazing pool, great outside area, the villa was immaculate inside and out, very private and had every amenity you could possibly want. We were a group of 13 with some couples so the 6 ensuite bedrooms was a big win giving us all privacy.
Set amongst a beautiful vineyard with expansive views across the Zakynthos countryside. You could easily stay at this villa for a week or two and never leave it (which would be a shame because the island itself is stunning!). Anta was a great host very attentive. I’d highly recommend local restaurant Θυμάρι (walking distance) great food, great prices. Highlights on the island were Porto Limonais and Fondo beach bar at Porto Roxa. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

My family and I had an amazing week at the villa. It was spacious with great amenities. We loved the addition of a large pool, bicycles, table tennis, tennis, large BBQ, and games.
The views from the villa were spectacular, and the location was private, with a short walk to a local taverna, which served delicious food at a reasonable price. There are neighbouring villas but they do not disturb you and there is a peaceful atmosphere on the property.
Anta was a great host, with fast response times and helpful recommendations. She accommodated later check out at a small cost.
However (and this is not a reflection of the villa), we found taxis on the island quite expensive. This made a ‘large food shop’, getting to town or the beach quite a chore. There is no uber and we spent €20+ to get anywhere, each way. Next time we would look into a hire car, especially because there was a large group of us.

Anta is a very friendly owner and always willing to help. The rooms are very nice and the view on the terrace is amazing with a great swimming pool. The cleaning ladies can also be booked as cooks and male very tasty dishes.

This was a great place to stay with stunning scenery. Good for group bookings because all the rooms had en suite and were basically the same and the pool was fantastic. However, the listing makes it look like you have a very wide range of amenities; table tennis, jacuzzi, hammocks, tennis court, etc. but this isn’t exactly true; we stayed in one of three villas and either had to share certain amenities like the tennis court or didn’t have access to them at all because they were actually for another one of the three villas, such as table tennis.

This villa is perfect for families… the outside area is beautiful and spacious, great if you have little ones (our group had 7, 5, 2 year olds and a 9 month old). The weather meant we could make full use of the pool and they loved playing in the shallow pool next to the big pool. The older children enjoyed the table tennis, tennis court and playing football when it got a little cooler in the evening. There were a couple of minor issues on check in but these were swiftly resolved by Anta which we appreciated. We visited a water park 5 mins drive away, and visited beautiful beaches which were just a short drive away too. Would certainly recommend the villa for a large group get together in beautiful surroundings.

I have never written a review in my life but had to write about this villa and the outstanding hospitality Anta and her husband provided. The villa itself was absolutely gorgeous and situated in a central location close to anywhere you want to go.
Anta and her husband were incredibly kind , gave us endless amounts of options of things to do and restaurants to go to.
The woman who came to clean who we also hired to cook one night were gracious and helpful in every way.
I 100% will be back again to Zakythnos for all the beauty it offers but mainly to stay at Villa Aneli.

Ante was an excellent host and provided great service and was very responsive and helpful with any requests we had. Would recommend anytime!!

We had a wonderful stay.
The place is very spacious and felt right at home with all the amenities. I particularly liked their flexibility with towels, bikes and equipment. Nearly everything was provided from the get go. The pool was very nice as well, and we took advantage of the barbecue area as well.
Location is quite good but you’ll need a car if you want to explore the island. The nearest supermarket is around a 5 minute drive. With a car, its quite accessible and very close to get to town and different attractions.
Anta and her crew were also very accommodating and were there for anything we needed. The crew has limited English (which is absolutely fine of course) so we had fun playing Charades to communicate.

The location was great and the house as well, with three bedrooms all with their own bath/shower room. Plenty of space downstairs and all appliances necessary were available. There are some things that need maintenance, but I`m sure that Anta, our host, will take all the necessary measures for this.

Anta was a great hostess. She was always ready to answer questions, before the trip, but also during the trip. As soon as there was a problem, Tassia, the housekeeping lady, came immediately and sorted it out. Anta also recommended us with many activities and excellent restaurants. The houses themselves are very nice and clean, and exactly as big as in the pictures. Overall it was a very nice trip and can only recommend it!

Fantastisk og idyllisk perle!
Aneli Villa var fuldkommen fantastisk – en ren perle der ligger midt i de smukkeste vinmarker med bjergene i baggrunden. Servicen var helt i top og huset er bare ren idyl. Det eneste er, at man SKAL have en bil, da det ligger lidt væk fra byen, indkøb osv. men alt i alt 10/10 oplevelse og klart et sted jeg vil anbefale til andre.

We highly recommend Aneli villas, we stayed in Villa Semeli and it was amazing. The setting of the villa is beautiful, in a completely quiet and secluded vineyard. The outside area is perfect – excellent pool, relaxing areas all around the villa, BBQ and eating space and the kids loved the bikes and football goals. The villa inside is spacious, well equipped and very well designed to minimise noise travel between areas – something we really appreciated with small kids! The whole space is new and very clean. Anta was always on hand for any questions and we were checked on every day by the lady who looks after the villa to see if we needed anything. There is a lovely Greek grill restaurant within walking distance from the villa, but a car is needed to get around to shops, beach etc. We would definitely stay again.

I would definently recommend this. This is by far the best service i have ever had from an airbnb. The cleaners were very nice and always ready to come when you needed them. They always made sure we had water and that everything was alright with us. The host was exeptional, she always answered really fast whenever you had a question and had a lot of recommendations of things to do. She was very kind and always made sure we all were alright.

The island of aegina is absolutely beautiful and it’s a lovely place to spend your holiday. We really enjoyed our week there and would highly recommend it and definitely like to come back.
The house is located about 5 minutes drive from the port and a very short walk will take you down to a small beach which is great for young kids to play on. There’s a grill restaurant within walking distance and food was nice.
The house is big, it was very clean and there’s air con in all the rooms. The beddings and towels were lovely.
Front door self locks when you step outside so you need to be careful not to lock yourself out. Kitchen could do with some more decent sized mugs for tea. There’s only one power point for the 4 appliances in the kitchen.
Consider hiring a car as getting taxis can be tricky especially around lunch times. Overall house is great. Host was helpful and provided with lots of useful info. We would highly recommend the house and island! Thanks Anta 🙂

A lovely villa to stay and experience the island of Aegina.
The Villa was very well appointed, it would be ideal for a large family with three bedrooms all with their own bath/shower room. Plenty of space downstairs and all appliances necessary were available. The bonus was all the lovely cats that visited every day! Very close to walk to the sea for a morning swim. I would recommend this villa.

Loved the pool, the view and the restaurant just within a few minutes walking

Onze villa was zeer goed verzorgd en had een zeer mooie uitstraling (kwamen aan in de avond). Het uitzicht aan de voorzijde was fraai en er was veel privacy. Ook waren er rondom de villa meerdere tafels en zitjes gemaakt waardoor je overal goed kon verblijven,op welk moment van de dag dan ook. De slaapkamers en badkamers zijn ook uitstekend, met name op de begane grond. Het zwembad was geweldig. De kinderen, groot en klein, hebben er veel plezier gehad en het was voldoende groot om baantjes te zwemmen. Kortom een heerlijk verblijf en een aanrader voor gezinnen. Een auto huren is wel aan te bevelen want de locatie is wat verder verwijderd van de mooiere stranden en ook voor de boodschappen is het verstandig om deze met een auto te doen.

We stayed at Anta’s place for 3 nights in May. Anta was very friendly and wanted to ensure we were having a great time throughout which included giving us detailed recommendations on places to eat nearby. It’s about a 30 minute walk into the town centre from Anta’s but the roads and surrounding areas all felt very safe.

Anta’s place was just fantastic. A great location, close to all the main beaches and amenities. Beautiful, private surroundings with lots to see.
The outside area including the pool and jacuzzi is fantastic. With loads of activities available. The pool is massive, far bigger than the photos look, I’ve stayed at hotels with less of a pool at twice the price!
We spoke daily with Anta, either just checking up, or to ask advice on restaurants/beaches/attractions, to which she was accomodating and very responsive.
Just book it. You won’t have a better 5* stay anywhere else on the island for the price.
We will 100% be returning and recommending the villa!

The airbnb is conveniently located a quick ride via taxi from the port. The house was beautiful with blue and white you see on postcards of Greece. Miss Anta was not available to greet us which was no problem as the checkin process was very simple and easy. The seaside views from each balcony were amazing. Clean rooms and well equipped kitchen with large refrigerator. There is a mini mart a short bike ride away and a bigger mart which I would recommend to go by taxi lest you want to lug groceries by hand or on bicycle. The bicycles came in handy as we explored the sea side and beaches. Some sort of phone holder on the bicycle would have been great so I would not have to hold my phone following maps. If you have a family I also would recommend renting a car. My girlfriend and I did not mind walking or bicycling but for a family I think it would be a bit much. Miss Anta was available to answer all our questions and gave great suggestions for restaurants. We loved our stay

We had absolutely blissful 5 days at Anta’s house in Aegina. Our communication was smooth and efficient throughout. The place is located on the outskirts of the town, short taxi ride that costs about €5-8, or 15 minutes by bicycle alongside the scenic coastal route.

We loved our time in Aegina. Anta was easy to communicate with and the house met all of our needs. The location was outside of town, which provided the privacy that we like, but also easy access to the activities and restaurants in town. While Anta quickly answered all of our questions by phone or WhatsApp, a house manual or guide would have been helpful.

A magical week at the most beautiful villa with a great view to wake up to.
Anastasia who greeted us was so helpful and checked on us daily. The nearby Taverna was lovely and we walked to it twice. The Villa was stunning and There was bags of space, a great tennis court, bikes to ride and a gorgeous but chilly pool.
A restful week exploring the Island we managed to get a boat trip to the beautiful Keri caves. We also went horse riding on the sand dunes.

Anta’s home was really bright and quirky with a real homely feel. We were 30 mins walk from the town or a 5 mins cab ride. You can see the sea from the balcony and sit and have a coffee. Anta had some lovely suggestions when asked for any ideas.

We have just returned from a visit to Anta’s villa in Zante, we’ve had the most amazing holiday. Anta was most most welcoming, easy to contact if you need anything or any assistance. The villa is just beautiful, set in a vineyard and with stunning views of the mountains. A perfect getaway for a family holiday with more then enough room for over 10 people. The kids enjoyed the pool and use of the bikes and tennis court. There is plenty to occupy you in the villa if you wish to chill, however the town is not to far for restaurants and the beautiful beaches of Zante. I would also like to say a special Thank-you to Mario the grounds keeper and Anastasia the housekeeper, who were always on hand if we needed anything. Overall amazing holiday we’ll definitely be back. Thanks again Anta

Our stay was amazing! We were a group of 5 and the villa was a perfect size for us. We were greeted by the house keepers and a phone call from Anta who provided us with a warm welcome and all the information we may have needed. She also emailed us a list of local super markets, cafes and restaurants and things to do on the island. She was very accommodating to us and also allowed us a later check out on our final day of our stay. It was a great location being central on the island, easy to access everywhere. Table tennis, Tennis court and a great sized pool, all for when we had nothing planned for our days. Overall an amazing experience, if we ever visit Zakynthos again, Aneli Villas will be our go to!

We are just home from the most wonderful stay at Anta’s villa. When I first saw the advert, I thought there must be some sort of catch as everything seemed too good to be true. However, I can confirm that everything is just as described in the advert – if not better in real life! The villa is beautiful and the surroundings in the vineyard are nothing short of spectacular. We also had some amazing sunsets. What’s even better is that it’s only a short drive to shops. Anta was so helpful throughout our stay too, she arranged a masseuse one day at the villa and gave us lots of local recommendations and tips. Her communication was brilliant and her team of staff on the ground at the vineyard were so attentive too. The tennis court is in fantastic condition and the table tennis table set under the olive trees next to the house is idyllic. We had the best time with our friends and two little babies with so many special memories made on this trip. Thank you so much to Anta and I hope that one day we can come back to visit this amazing spot again.

Jeśli nie masz samochodu i nie chcesz iść 2 km do centrum miasta, to ta lokalizacja nie jest dla ciebie. Warto też się uzbroić w środek na komary (choć fakt w domu są moskitiery, i różne specyfiki)

We had a great time at Aegina! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has anything you may wish for (incl. bikes, beach umbrella and mats). Anta and Dimitris were very responsive and quickly sorted any issues we encountered. Check-in and check-out was very smooth as well! You may wish to consider renting a car if you are not used to walking, although there are several beaches and two restaurants in a walking distance from the house and the port can be reached by the taxi. Happy to stay there again when back at the island!

We have just returned from a week staying at this amazing villa. Anta and her husband are wonderful hosts. Anta provided lots of information in advance of our trip. They met us at the villa even thought it was 11pm at night. Then Anta and her husband drove ahead of us to show us where the supermarket was to get supplies and to the local grill (which is amazing) to get some food. They popped over several times throughout the week to check we were ok and brought us grapes and wine from their vineyard and olive oil. Twice we took private boat trips with PortoVromi cruises (which Anta had suggested) which were amazing. We visited lots of beaches around the island and adored the food in all the restaurants we visited. Halfway through the week the housekeepers changed the linen and towels and we were so lucky that the next guests were not arriving the same day we left and so were able to do a late checkout. I would absolutely recommend this villa! 5 stars

Super nice house so near the sea – nice beaches. – fine facilities and space. The location is perfect – not too far away from the town. Terrasse and balcony with the most beautiful view. Bikes to borrow. The host Anta is very pro- active and very friendly. Very supportive if anything is needed. We loved our stay on the Island and enjoyed the house very much. I highly recommend Aneli Villas, great place to stay. The view is incredible, the houses are well equipped and close to everything. The place is exactly as in the pictures. We were very pleasantly surprises !

Het huis is van alle comfort voorzien. Het zwembad is heerlijk, net als de fietsen, de tennisbaan en het landgoed op zich is al een plaatje om te zien. Verder ligt het huis erg centraal en zijn de gastheer en gastvrouw uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

This property had lots of space and was very clean and comfortable. I love the decor and it is a perfect venue for a family, particularly if you have brought or hired a car.

The property is wonderful, excellent view, comfortable and specious house, fully equipped, there is everything you may need. Great location, center of the city is on 30 min walk. I highly recommend this property, we had a lovely time during the Easter holiday we stayed. The owners were very kind and the communication was great. So, if I have any chance to visit Aegina again, I will definitely choose Aneli Villas.

Our trip to Villa Aneli was simply wonderful. As a party of 8 young professionals we could not have asked for a cleaner, lovelier Villa which came equipped with a huge pool, tennis court and spacious veranda. The views were stunning and we were never wanting for anything while in the Villa.
The cleaning staff were friendly, polite and efficient which made us feel very comfortable while in and around the Villa.
Only one or two minor hitches were dealt with quickly and effectively by Anta who kept in contact throughout our stay to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and everything was going smoothly.

Finally, the location of the Villa was within easy access of Zante, Laganas, Kalamaki and the airport which made transport (when not on bike rides!) easy to organise.

With our whole hearts, our party would thoroughly recommend Anta as a host and Villa Aneli as a wonderful holiday destination.

The house was amazing! It’s really spacious and offers a beautiful view on the sea. The house is located right next to some nice beaches and half an hour from the port, which can be reached by taxi or with own vehicles (parking in front of the house). Everything was just like depicted in the description. The communication with Anita was super quick and easy. We really enjoyed our time there! Would always recommend it, hope we’ll come back some time!

We had a lovely stay at the Villa. It is about a 10 minute drive into the port, a nice quiet location and we slept well. Whilst the place has the potential to be ‘luxury’ there are to many elements which fall short of this currently. All 3 railings on the stairs are not secured properly, there was a rusty table on the upper balcony, a bathroom door knob came off, the bedroom wall had paint flaked off of it and the dining room chairs were stained. All that said, we still enjoyed our stay and hopefully these things get fixed to make it perfect.

It’s a nice house, there were a few issues, that the host was helpful with. It has peaceful Mountain View’s. Compared to the pictures we were a little underwhelmed by the house, much smaller than it appears. You definitely need a car, it’s not a walkable area. We were unlucky with the weather, I do recommend going earlier in the summer. We thought the hydrojets area was a heated spa, but it was unfortunately very cold.

The check in process was so smooth and effortless.
The villa is GORGEOUS! Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is perfect. We were given a water cooler with cold/warm filtered water available to us 24/7. The private pool we had was beautiful and at night it lights up.
The host Anta and her husband Antonis are incredible. Extremely accommodating and friendly. The staff on the property are extremely friendly. They brought us numerous fruits from the gardens surrounding the villa.
I would recommend this Airbnb for all types of groups. From large groups of friends to families with children.

We had the most amazing stay in Villa Alexandra. Anta and Dimitri were the perfect hosts and the villa with the picturesque view of the mountains and wine fields were SO beautiful. If you don’t have a rental car, you can use the bikes of the estate for shorter trips or Anta can help arrange taxis to authentic Greek tavernas or maybe a trip to Zakinthos town. I can highly recommend a stay in Villa Alexandra!

I can really recommend this beautiful spacious house and the island.
Best things about the house are the generous living area where one can eat and hang out, the really well equiped kitchen and all the nice terraces.
We had no car in the beginning of our stay and were happy to walk to the nearest beach cove (3 min) and take the two bikes to the nearest store (5 min). To walk to the city takes around 30 min. we rented a car later to be more flexible with a two year old and to see more of beautiful Aegina, which reveals different faces in other places.

Communication with Anta was pleasant though due to some internet or (Hidden by Airbnb) problems sometimes somewhat delayed.

The house is high end, but could use a bit maintenance on door knobs, baths and railings, but i suppose that can be said about a lot of properties at the end of summer season. I would definately stay here again.

Everything was perfect! The house is just as the pictures show: clean and spacious rooms, big pool and nice tennis court. The owners, security, gardener and cleaning team were all very kind and helpful. We had the perfect holidays and would enjoy to come back at any time! Thanks to all for making this vacation so great

Our booking was problematic because of COVID issues and Anta was unfailingly polite an accommodating .
The villa is simple and stylish ; perfect for Greece. It is well equipped too. Good quality linen and towels .
Location is excellent : not far from the main town, 2 local tavernas within walking distance and an excellent swimming beach a few minutes walk away.
We would definitely go there again . Fabulous !

We had a lovely stay at Anelli Villas in Aegina. To begin with, the owner (Anta) was always very polite and accommodating in our interactions. The house is spacious, set in a neighbourhood full of family summer houses, yet close to the sea and Aegina town. It has all amenities, a sea view from the top balcony and a little garden with pistachio trees to enjoy quiet evenings. There are little beach coves within walking distance from the house, to enjoy swimming even with small children. The town is close to shopping and/ or stroll. We will be back.

We had a great time at Anta’s house. The location is great, literally 2 min away from a cute local beach. The port is 5 min by cab and offers a lots of great restaurants and bars. The house itself is a little aged but still has quite some charms. Good to know before arriving: water is not drinkable, so bring a few with you on your way in

Aneli Villa is a large estate in a very nice location. The villa is kept clean and in a good condition. It includes all the essentials for a convenient family or a large group holiday. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. As a minor issue, some kitchenware (kettle, saucepans, etc) should be renewed. The villa is 10 minutes drive to the town center. There are a good number of supermarkets nearby but a car is essential. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

Anta’s house is a wonderful place to stay set in a beautiful location, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. There are some quiet and beautiful beaches within easy reach. This is a great place to stay as a family and children of any age.

This is a gorgeous villa just as it looks in the pictures. It’s position and views are wonderful. The private pool was fantastic and having this was perfect for our family holiday.
The hosts were away for the majority of our stay but they ensured that someone was there to show us around on arrival and they also called to welcome us and provide lots of information. When we did meet Antonio in person later in the week he was extremely friendly and welcoming. We were able to pick and eat numerous fruits and vegetables from the grounds of the villa during our stay – including lemons, plums, figs, cucumbers, courgettes, aubergines and peppers and the man maintaining the grounds handed us a lovely basket of freshly picked vegetables one morning. This was a lovely bonus. The hosts also left a selection of complimentary bottles of local wine for us to enjoy.
Prior to our trip, communication with Anta was good and she quickly answered any questions we had. Once we were in Zakynthos Antonio provided a number of helpful suggestions for places to eat etc. We recommend Taverna Lofos and The Old Windmill. We had no problems at all with our booking and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a villa in Zakynthos.

Great location, great property, family friendly and quiet neighborhood

The property is wonderful, exactly as pictures show. You can see the Aegean Sea right till continental Greece from the balcony. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely living room with comfortable chairs and sofas. All the rooms with air conditioning which is very helpful after a sunny day at the beach. There are 3 bathrooms, one for each bedroom. The location of the house is great, about 10 minutes drive from the Aegina Port, you can walk 3 minutes to a beautiful sparkling clean almost private beach where the turquoise water and sandy sea bottom will make you stay all day. Also, there is a nice Greek Taverna 5 minutes walk from the house where we ate almost every day in the afternoon.
I highly recommend this property, we had a lovely time the week we stayed. The owners were very kind and the communication was great.
Looking forward to coming back to this place again in the future.

House very comfortable and cozy. Well equipped. Very good contact with the owner. The owner could not welcome us personally so he called us and gave us tips on tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. In front of the house, on the other side of the street is the sea and the beach. We spent a very nice time on the island of Aegina. From the island we recommend a boat trip to the island of Moni. There are peacocks walking on it and there is a beautiful beach. The island can be reached from the port of Perdika. The boat trip costs 10 euros and takes 10 minutes. Thank you for your hospitality.

Our hosts Anthony and Anta made us feel welcome right from the start, a very warm welcome. He even showed us personally the nearest supermarket and fish shop. The House was exactly as described and the way it looked on the pictures. The pool is just amazing and the view from the terrace and pool is stunning. You are in the middle of the vineyards and olive trees and it is so quiet, very peaceful. You share a tennis court with house behind you and that works fine, the court is even lighted at night. You have no disturbance of the house behind you as the back of the buildings are against each other. Antony our landlord past by each day to bring fresh melons, tomatoes, corn, peppers from the garden and even wine which was made from the vineyards. What a great surprise, we loved his daily visits. The living room area is not big but you mainly live outside all the time. We even moved the inside table for 6 outside so we could eat there.The air-conditioning worked really well. All 3 bedrooms have their own bathroom which is a great plus when traveling with 4 teenagers. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and convenient, there is even an outside barbecue. We really loved our first week on Zakynthos. The house is new and in great shape I would definitely recommend it to everybody. The location is also very convenient, everything is not more than 35 minutes driving.

The villa was amazing! The location was so beautiful and quiet, between the vineyards. We could watch the sunset while swimming or relaxing in the jacuzzi. The villa was super clean and was cleaned again after 3 days. The swimming pool was also often cleaned. Everything was brand new and available at the villa: tennisrackets, washing machine, good coffee machine, big television… The rooms were bright and decorated very well. Every room has a spacious bathroom and AC. The hosts were very kind as well. They showed us around, came to pick us up at the airport, helped us to do the shopping and came to check whether everything was fine. We would definitely come back here!

We booked the Villa based on the pictures we saw on booking.com but by far the memories that will stay with us was the warmth, kindness and generosity provided by our hosts. The villa is everything shown in the pictures and much more, every attention to detail is provided by the keen eyes of the owners. My son put meeting and talking with Antony (owner) in his top 3 experiences of the holiday, and that reflects on the experience we all had; meeting us at the airport, gifting produce from their garden and even wine from their vineyard. Equally Anta helped the arrangements, and things that meant so much, such as helping us choose the best local delicacies and fresh produce at the supermarket. We can only thank them both so much for making our 2018 holiday something we will always remember fondly.

The Villa is perfect, from the day we arrived to the day we left, we felt like home. We were a group of 12 people and everybody was so happy.

The area is really big and you have an view over the complete mountains. You never feel like you need to go out, because your eye can see so much.

The house itself is really nice and spacious and the hosts Anton and Anta were the best hosts we ever had.

They took us on private boat trips on their own boat and explained us everything which we wanted to know and much more.

We booked additional cooks and Maria and Tassia are the best and lovely maids and cooks in the world. The food was sooo good, we stayed for 3 weeks and could have stayed forever.

The Pool is really big and in the gardens there are fruits and vegetables everywhere. You can take them and eat them or just explore the nature..

There is also an Table Tennis Plate and an nice BBQ Outdoor Area. The Inside Kitchen has everything you need and overall you have so much space and privacy that you will feel like home.

The Tennis court is newly build and has floodlights. The court itself is an hardcourt which can be used for professional tournament play. It’s really good, we played everyday and enjoyed every minute while playing.

Anton and Anta are now friends of us and the 2 lovely Kids of them felt like family. We wish them all the best and can recommend the Villa to everybody. You will enjoy it.

Anta and Anthon are the most perfect airbnb hosts ever. Incredibly hospitable, utterly charming and on hand to answer any questions and give countless recommendations regarding where to go, what to do/see on the island, they couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt they went above and beyond their roles as airbnb hosts to make sure that we had the most wonderful stay.

The villa itself is exceptional. Huge and airy, with large bedrooms, and the most incredible pool I think we’ve ever enjoyed! It was a nightmare trying to drag the children away from the house – they just wanted to stay in the pool, explore the fruit groves, play hide and seek in the vineyards and make use of the huge amount of space available to them on the estate. As two families staying in the villa, we didn’t feel as though we were tripping over each other at any point – there was ample space to breathe and relax, whether it was enjoying the space beside the pool, enjoying the view from the balcony, snuggling up in the cabana or relaxing in a hammock. Lovely to have so many options in terms of areas to hang out.

We cannot recommend this villa highly enough – it gets 5 stars from us for everything, from cleanliness and charm to the thoughtfulness of our wonderful hosts.

Towels and bedlinen were provided (and changed once during our week’s stay) and if we had any requests, they were responded to immediately.

Περάσαμε μία εκπληκτική εβδομάδα διακοπών στη Ζάκυνθο στη βίλα Αναστασία. Ήμασταν δύο οικογένειες με συνολικά 7 παιδιά. Η Άντα και ο Αντώνης μας υποδέχτηκαν χαμογελαστοί στο υπέροχο σπίτι τους. Μας κατατόπισαν από την πρώτη στιγμή για όλες τις ανέσεις του σπιτιού, τι έπρεπε να προσέξουμε για τα παιδιά και μας σύστησαν μέρη και εστιατόρια της Ζακύνθου. Η παρουσία τους κατά τη διάρκεια της παραμονής μας ήταν διακριτική και καθόλου ενοχλητική. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν στη διάθεσή μας για ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν.

Το σπίτι είναι καταπληκτικό, καλύτερο από τις φωτογραφίες. Ξεκουράζεται το μάτι σου και ηρεμεί η ψυχή σου. Υπάρχει άνεση στους χώρους, καθαριότητα, οργάνωση και φαίνεται καθαρά ότι οι οικοδεσπότες έχουν προνοήσει για όλες τις λεπτομέρειες. Το σπίτι βρίσκεται σε στρατηγική θέση στο νησί της Ζακύνθου, καθώς οι αποστάσεις προς οποιαδήποτε κατεύθυνση δεν ξεπερνούν τα 20 με 25 χιλιόμετρα (περίπου 40 λεπτά η μακρύτερη διαδρομή).

Θα επιστρέψουμε σίγουρα σε επόμενες διακοπές μας.

Anta was a great host and the place was fantastic. Anta waited for us at the ferry and showed us the house and also spent some time to give us many helpful local tips. Because of the many pistachio treees on the area there are mosquitos but if you bring mosquitoes spray you can enjoy the wonderful backyard too.

We could only secure this villa for the first week of our two week holiday, and it was an order of magnitude better than our second villa in every respect.

We received such a warm welcome from our lovely hosts; genuinely lovely people for whom nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the time they took to advise us on attractions, beaches and restaurants, and we enjoyed the gifts of fruits and vegetables from their organic garden. The best corn on the cob ever!

The villa was wonderful. We particularly loved the outdoor space with beautiful pool, fabulous BBQ and eating area, tennis court and table tennis – all set within a beautiful vineyard. Inside, we enjoyed the comfortable beds, the very well-equipped kitchen, the air conditioning and a much appreciated water cooler. This is the sort of villa that you’ll want to spend all day at – unlike our second villa, where we couldn’t wait to head out to the beach each day. The hosts have a second villa directly behind this one which share the same driveway, but no other amenities are shared (e.g. each villa has its own pool) and we were barely aware that anyone was nearby.

The villa is centrally located, within about 15 minutes of the airport, Tsivili and Zakynthos town. You’ll need a car.

We spent our time at the villa either outdoors or sleeping. We didn’t use the sitting room, but it did occur to us that families with kids or teens wanting a big screen TV might be disappointed. But they should be in the pool anyway!

Finally, a very big thank you to our lovely hosts. We wish you every success and we hope to visit again soon.
